Venerdì 22 settembre Graduation per 15 studenti internazionale di Pollenzo

Venerdì  22 settembre alle 10,30 nell’aula magna dell’Università di Scienze Gastronomiche si terrà la cerimonia di graduation per 15 studenti internazionali che hanno ultimato il Master in Agroecology and Food Sovereignty.

La discussione delle tesi si svolge nei giorni precedenti: mercoledì e giovedì 20 e 21 settembre.

Ecco i 15 studenti e le loro tesi, supervisionate dalla prof.ssa Paola Migliorini.

Maya Danielle Bornstein, 27 anni  dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “ABC’s of Accessible CSA’s: Analyzing CSA Accessibility and Sustainability in Amsterdam’s Agrofood Landscape – A de Stadsgroenteboer Case Study”.

Louise Mead Brownell, 26 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “The Impact of Educational Farm Visits on Intentions & Habits Surrounding Local Food: A Case Study at Podere il Casale”.

Kalena Danae Chomeau, 25 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “The Influence of Microbial Life on Tomato Plant Growth, Fruit Quality, and the Overall Balance of an Ecosystem”.

Alexandra Angela De Rosa, 32 anni da Stati Uniti/ Italia, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Community Resiliency: How intentional relationships with the earth and with each other inspire hope in the face of disaster”.

Cecily Marie Dodd, 31 anni dalla Germania, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Agroecology education programs for farmers and the role of core competencies – Biosain, a market garden on living soil and seeds and its educational program as case study”.

Shylee Eigner, 30 anni da Israele/ Slovacchia, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Sand to Soil: Exploring the Feasibility of Korean Natural Farming for Desert Agriculture”.

Dimitra Gatidou, 35 anni dalla Grecia , presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Viability of Circular Processes at Le Nuove Rotte  Farm”.

Margherita Guida, 22 anni da Torino (Italia), presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Microbial (agro)ecologies of raw milk cheese: raw milk cheese making as a multi species endeavour”.

Emma Victoria Lervik  Ling,  24 anni dalla Norvegia, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Analysing the Challenges of the Sale of Organic Meat in Maremma, Italy”.

Atreyee Madhukalya, 28 anni dall’India, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Offal, not Awful: Understanding and Deconstructing Offal Consumption”.

Andrea Marie Mitchell, 28 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Perceptions of Acorn Infusion Beverage in Central Portugal”.

April Marie Rog, 43 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Critical reflections on the use of Livestock Guardian Dogs in Agroecology”.

Christina Nicole Sbarra, 53 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “”Multi-Species Relationships On The Farm: Motivations And Impacts Of Subtle Agro-Ecological Practices, A case study at Podere Il Casale in Tuscany”.

Damiano Tua, 29 anni da Almese (Italia), presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Agritourism and rural networks: a comparative study on the Italian agroecological scenario”.

Reiley Makanaokalani Wilhelm, 25 anni dagli Stati Uniti, presenta la tesi dal titolo: “Aloha ʻĀina Values Guiding Agroecological Transitions for Fallow Lands in Hawai’i: A Case Study of Grassroots Initiatives in Ko’olau, O’ahu”.
